refunds with ease! |

One of the objectives of ALERE is to address
certain day-to-day processes in new and innovative
ways.
One area that we identified was to
process refunds with ease by converting credit
memos into payables. Two approaches can be used as
follows:
1) When a credit memo is created and the
Accept button on the Status tab is selected, you
may choose between releasing the order as a
standard credit memo or converting the credit memo
to a payable.
2) An existing credit memo may be converted
to a payable at any time by selecting the Release
button on the Status Tab.
Furthermore, a payable can be created WITHOUT
the company being a supplier.These two approaches
provides considerable control over the
refund and payables
process. |

| Importing Information into the General
Ledger of ALERE |
|
Whether payroll is being processed
by payroll software or an outside firm, the
information can be easily updated into the General
Ledger of ALERE Business Applications.
Innovative Tekniques
released an Import to ALERE.
The Import screen allows the user to modify
the posting date, the general ledger account, the
description and the reference number. It does not
allow the user to change the dollar amount, nor
will it allow the posting of unbalanced entries.
The entire import process can be as simple as
clicking the "ALL" button followed by the "IMPORT"
button on the Import screen, then exiting.
